Some say that "father knows best," however in this love story it was mom who brought them together.

He's a chef and was catering her family friend's Thanksgiving Day celebration.  Her mother immediately called her to come to the party because she knew that she would "hit it off" with the chef.  He is attractive, successful, and passes her height requirement.  She attended the party looking her best. They talked for a bit, went on a date the next day and the rest is history!

The couple had been together for a little over a year before Ryan proposed.  Anna and Ryan traveled to upstate New York to attend one of Anna's college friend's wedding.  The couple decided to stay at a bed and breakfast that was very low key.

Prior to this, Anna had purchased new nightgowns and had put one on to surprise Ryan.  Ryan looked at the back of her gown and said "baby you have a big hole on your nightgown." Anna was very annoyed, but Ryan was joking of course.  Ryan brought out a sewing kit and handed it to Anna.  She was very impressed on how industrious he was and when she opened the kit, out popped a beautiful diamond ring.  She immediately looked up and Ryan was down on one knee.

Prior to choosing The Wedding Ring Shop, Ryan shopped around, however once he set his eyes on the Hearts of Fire diamond; he knew he found the perfect one.
